The company, Green Coffee and Cocoa Supply, has been established to meet the demand for small batches of Speciality coffee from an increasing number of micro roasters.
My name is Sigurd Gramstad, and I run this new business. Through the company Stavanger Kaffebrenneri AS, I have been importing green coffee from coffee providers all over Europe for the last 20 years. Since 2017 we expanded to also include raw Cocoa beans.
We have for a long time offered green coffee beans to home roasters and to new micro roasters, from the very same stock of the coffee we roast and sell. To be able to offer better prices, as well as avoid competition over the same beans, this new company offers the possibility to purchase small single estate lots, which in most cases can be purchased to be exclusively owned by a single buyer.
We are able to use our scale and reputation to make large purchases, with associated reduced shipping and administration costs, to meet our goal of offering these speciality raw products at lower prices and provide a larger selection than most micro roasters would manage by trading directly. In order to keep such low prices and also due to the fact that our coffees are vacuum packed to maintain freshness, we will unfortunately not be able to offer samples.
Our warehouse in Stavanger has been carefully selected to be suitable for coffee and we have the necessary infrastructure in place to offer efficient handling and supply.
